Nags Head Trip

We went to Nags Head to attend our friends daughters wedding on the beach. There were 6 other couples and four more people living in the house we all rented for the week. The young ladies in the wedding along with family and friends stayed in another house about a block away. The week consisted of watching and walking the ocean for hours and traveling all along the Outer Banks. We went to Roanoke Island, Okracoke Island, Pea Island and the following cities Corolla, Pine Island, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags head, Whalebone Junction, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, Hatteras, Okracoke and Manteo. We saw five lighthouses (Roanoke Marshes, Bodie Island, Cape Hatteras, Ocracoke, Currituck Beach) and climbed to the top of two(Cape Hatteras and Currituck Beach). We took a ferry to Okracoke Island. We found many pretty sea shells and saw crabs at night on the beach plus about everything you could expect to see at the ocean. The men played golf one afternoon. We shopped a little the ladies shopped a lot. We would all like to go back and see and do some of the things we missed. The wild horses that live north of Corolla would be nice to see and photograph. I would like more time on Ocracoke Island to walk around more and spend more time on the best beach in the USA. There are some nice wildlife refuges that I would like to see. It was a wonderful trip for all.
